Det betyder at vi har to telefonnumre i samme stik (på de samme to ledere) Hvert nummer har så sin egen ringe-karekteristik, hos os ringer den normalt ved telefon og med dobbelt hastighed når det er en fax - faxen genkender ringesignalet og starter øjeblikkeligt Med venlig hilsen Fladder

If distinctive ring service is not being used, do not change this setting, or the product will not be able to receive faxes. Distinctive ring service is available from some local telephone companies in the United States. It allows having two or three telephone numbers on one line. This typically costs less than paying for two separate lines. Each of the telephone numbers will have a different ring pattern. For example, a voice number could have a single ring, and a fax number could have a double ring. While distinctive ring service allows having up to three telephone numbers on the same line, the product only supports two numbers. The product cannot detect the difference between the double-ring and triple-ring pattern and would answer calls coming to both the second and third numbers. If distinctive ring service is desired, call the local telephone company to check availability and to subscribe. (The local telephone company may use a different name for this service. For example, it is called "Identa-ring" in parts of New Jersey and "RingMaster" in parts of Florida.) This service may not be available in some areas. NOTE: If subscribed to distinctive ring service, make sure that the telephone company assigns the double-ring pattern to the fax number. The product ignores the single-ring pattern. Enable distinctive ring detection from the control panel of the product NOTE: Only change this setting to "Yes" if subscribed to a distinctive ring service from a local telephone company. Do not change setting if not subscribed to this service, or the product will not be able to receive faxes. [LIST=1][*] Call the local telephone company and subscribe to distinctive ring service. Make sure that the telephone company assigns the double-ring pattern to the fax number. There cannot be a third phone number on this line.[*] Press ENTER/MENU.[*] Use the < or > arrow key to select Fax Settings and press ENTER/MENU.[*] Use the < or > key to select Incoming Faxes and press ENTER/MENU.[*] Use the < or > key to select Distinctive Ring and press ENTER/MENU.[*] Use the < or > key to select Yes or No and press ENTER/MENU.[*] Press STOP/CLEAR to exit the Menu settings. Fladder Trådstarter 538 4600 10-02-2008 07:53 Tusind tak for vejledningen...... Har prøvet at slå det til på faxen Menu´en er fuldstændig som du skriver - men når jeg vælger "Distinctive Ring" skriver den "Distinctive Ring isn´t available" Gør jeg noget forkert ? Med venlig hilsen Fladder
