Unfortunately the failed installation of Nero 7 on your system cannot be solved with a simple workaround.
We suggest that you uninstall all Nero 7 applications from your computer first and proceed by reinstalling Nero 7 completely. Please follow the following three steps:
1. Find your Nero 7 serial number.
2. Uninstall all Nero 7 applications using the Nero CleanTool
3. Install Nero 7 again.

Make sure you have your Nero 7 serial number. You will need it to install Nero 7 again.
You will find your serial number as follows:
Launch Nero StartSmart.
Click the "Nero" logo in the upper left corner.
-> The Nero ProductCenter will open.
Click the "License" icon to view your serial number.
Please write down your serial number.
Alternatively, you can also find your serial number in the Windows registry.
Please proceed as follows:
Click "Start" in the Windows taskbar.
Click the "Run" command.
Enter "regedit" in the "Open" text field and click the "OK" button.
-> The registry window will open.
-> You will find your serial number on the left side in the navigation tree.
Simply go into the path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ahead\Installation\Families\Nero 7\Info
and double-click the "Serial7" entry.
-> Your serial number is listed in this location. It is structured as follows:
Retail version: 1Cxx-xxxx-xxxx-...
Nero Essentials: 4Cxx-xxxx-xxxx-...
Please write down your serial number.

Now start uninstalling all Nero 7 applications from your computer using the Nero 7 CleanTool.
Please proceed as follows:
Download the Nero 7 CleanTool using the following link:
ftp://ftp9.nero.com/attach/General-CleanTool_7.zip Save this file to your desktop.
Unzip the CleanTool with WinZip or WinRAR.
Double-click on the .exe file to start the CleanTool.
-> The CleanTool deletes all Nero 7 applications.
Reboot your computer when the CleanTool has finished.
-> The CleanTool has removed all Nero entries from your computer.

Now install a new Nero 7 version. Please proceed as follows:
(Note: do not install a previous Nero 7 version from an installation CD now, but download and install the latest version of Nero 7 from our website. All Nero 7 download versions have the full range of functions as an original Nero 7 installation CD. There is no need to install a previous version of Nero first)
Download and install the latest Nero 7 version from the Nero website using the following link:
http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-up.php Save the installation file on your hard drive.
Double-click the downloaded Nero 7 installation file to start the installation.
Enter your Nero 7 serial number during the installation to make your Nero into a permanent version. (The download without a serial number is a trial version only).
-> You now have a newly installed version of Nero 7 on your computer.
