A new interior wall

Hello good people,

I have an apartment in Copenhagen (built in 2007) and I am thinking about splitting my ~ 19 Sqm room into 2 smaller rooms, but since I am new in Denmark and I can't even speak the language, I don't even know where to start with.

My questions are:

- Do I need approval from the municipality or anywhere else to do it?

- How much does it cost if I need someone else to do it and what to do?

- Is it possible to do it myself? (As a person who is not that much of a handyman 🙂)

If you are the owner off the apartment you can do it without asking anyone.

But If you rent the apartment you have to ask about it at the housing association/bureau In this case you have to bring the apartment back to basis if you leave it.

I ca`nt tell the price You must have a carpenter to put the wall up with the wooden shell and plasterboard IFF there a windows i each room aftervards. And he have to install 2 doors.

Maybe electrican to make a little bit new installation

And in the end a painter

It is a very good handyman task but you must have access to some tools

Thanks for the response. I am the owner of the apartment, so it wouldn't be a problem then .
Regarding the carpenter, what would you search on google (or specific website maybe?) to find someone doing such a small job? I mean it is less than 10 sqm wall, that I guess a specialist can make in 3-4 hours. Right?
